Transfers between accounts
First, let me say I realize this was suggested before and that you can drag & drop items from one wallet to another.
That said, I would argue that this functionality is more of an "oops! this amount shouldn't have gone to this wallet, let me move it to the correct wallet real quick" kind of feature. I say this mainly for two reasons: you can not transfer an arbitrary amount of money (which is extremely useful (if not vital) to record a deposit to a bank account, for example) and second, once the amount has been "transferred" to another…

to have Category Tags
I just saw my end of the month chart and I got this idea:
It would be nice to have the possibility to ad a "general category tag" for each spending (i.e: #food, #medicine, #gas, etc) besides the usual stuff that I write at each expens (i.e bread, milk, etc).
(so an entry shoul look something like "bread, milk #food)
The advange for this would be that, at the end of each month, I would be able to retrieve the expense chart for the "general categories" (i.e. 10% for food, 23% for gas)

Leave the past date selected after you insert a expense
Now it reverts back to the current date.
Scenario: I want to insert all the expenses I did yesterday but the date keeps changing to the current one after each insertion.

Retain the UI Simplicity
I love its simplicity, I'm having a headache with other financial apps with overflowing data! Cashbase really got IT! whether you add a lot of features, please just keep it simple! don't make any huge changes.

Pie Graph
A pie graph that will show the allocation of the expenses. It can be daily/weekly/monthly basis. The division of the pie can be categorized the in general terms like Food (e.g. breakfast, lunch), Services (e.g. Haircut, Laundry), Transportation, and other types of general terms. Then the user can drag and drop the item/expense to the category where he/she feels it is more relevant to. In this way, the graph will show how much was your expense (in % form) for each category.

Adding a budget feature
Allow the user to add a monthly budgeted amount for each category. This way, when we look at the monthly graph, we can see how much we spent vs how much we budgeted. (ie, budget $600/month for groceries and show that I'm over budget by $x)

Option to write memo/notes
It's fun to use tags, but I'd also like an option to write a memo/notes so I can see what I spent it on (i.e. bought socks at walmart for tim)

have an end of the month percentage chart
...a chart that would show at the end of a month, the percentage of cash and where did it go. (ex. 18% went on baby food)
This chart can be a natural step forward for cashbase because: what would be the purpose of such a tool than to show you how much you spent and on what, so that way you can make cuts and improve your finances. Cashbase needs to be a bit more that just a tool that records transactions, (I think) it needs to be a tool that can show you were you can improve in your…13 votes -

Perhaps allow the user to edit the date on a transaction. It is a lot better than having to delete and re-enter the transaction if one forgets to change the date for the transaction entry.
