export or other type of backup
this is really important. I want to know that any server/db error on your side will not lead to information lost.

Currently when I export into a csv format, lets say a month's transaction, It exports with amounts totaled for different categories. anyways by which all the entries are exported?

Wow, thanks, you implemented it exactly like I suggested! Did I mention I love you? :P

I would suggest exporting to ods (OpenDocumentSpreadsheet) or another common spreadsheet format as this would also make it easier to do number crunching on the data!
I suggest using one sheet per wallet with one transaction per row. The user should be able to specify an interval of time. A row could look like the following (with '|' denoting new column):
date | tag | hashtags | +-amount | resulting balance -

well, I don't know, because I'm not a tech guy but any format that permits me to see at least the last "transactions" is better then no back-up at all.

We're thinking about this and will build it soon.
What would be a good format to export in and how would the exported data be structured?
