Budgets-Cash Flow integration
I find it a shame, almost odd actually, that Cashbase doesn't feature some kind of integration of the budgets into the cash flow panel. I would have liked that my monthly budgets could be grasped as a "worst case scenario" of my expenses, in my cash flow. At the end of the day, I'm interested in how much money I should have at t+6months, or 1 year, complying with the budgets I've set myself, and there's no straightforward way to go about it it appears.
I've Created a "Worst Case Scenario" category and put the total amount of my budgets in it, so I know that income-budgets=balance a year from now, but there should be an option for that, in my opinion. I'd also try to implement an "adjust to actual expenses" button so that at the end of the month releasing unused portions of a budget, or taking overbudget spendings into account become possible.
