Hierarchy Categories with Drag Drop functionality
To make the categories a little more user friendly, I would love to be able to order them however I'd like (drag and drop).
Also, to add to the organization, it would be nice to add sub categories—so for example, I could have the following:
House
- Kitchen Supplies
- Toiletries
- Repair and Fixup
- Other
Entertainment
- Movies
- Movie theater
- Redbox
- Netflix
- Bowling League
- Cardinal's Games
Checkout the jQuery plugin: http://mjsarfatti.com/sandbox/nestedSortable/
We’ll order categories based on the usage frequency. Hope this match your request.

rather not have this. i don't need/want this much specificity. If you do it, please make it an option. One thing I hate about Mint, too many categories.

Also, Entertainment is supposed to show up like this:
Entertainment
- Movies
--- Movie theater
--- Redbox
--- Netflix
- Bowling League
- Cardinal's Games -

Just kidding—it DOESN'T create a hierarchy—it just does what the button says... "merges" one category and all it's receipts into another category.
So this is still a valid idea then

Haha — so "Merge Categories" does the hierarchy... It was not super clear what that button did... I was afraid it would merge my income categories with my expense categories so I was afraid to click it...
I wonder if it would be more user friend to reword that button to be more clear?
