The amount displayed in the wallet should not reflect future transactions.
If I have an expense or income scheduled, lets say, a couple of days from now, it would be great to have some sort
of a checkbox to choose between to having that transaction reflected in the amount displayed in the wallet or not.

The future transactions are shown only in CashFlow, and do not affect the total wallets balance.

I agree! Future transactions shouldnt automatically affect the money in the wallet (but they should have a checkbox that allows this if we want)

To expand on this idea: Let's call the checkbox "completed". A transaction is completed if you actually got the money or paid.
Whenever you add a transaction today or in the past (either expense or income) the transaction is automatically marked as completed.
Whenever you add a transaction in the future, the transaction is marked as incomplete (checkbox not checked). The same holds true for automatically generated repeatable transactions—generated repeatable transactions should be marked as incomplete.
Thus, there are now two totals: the current total is the sum of all completed transactions; the projected total is the sum of all transactions including incomplete (future) ones. When viewing the total for a wallet, you should be able to switch between current and projected total; or have the projected total displayed smaller under the current total.
This also introduces the notion of overdue transactions: incomplete transactions that have the date set in the past. These should be displayed with a distinctive style.
This would make planning expenses much more awesome, and would also help planning income for freelancers.
