True, you can move transactions between wallets (also with drag and drop), but this is only to give you flexibility -- it doesn't imply a single, global currency.
Basically, you set currency as convention -- the app doesn't force you either way.

Wallets are not fully independent, since one can use ">" to move money from a wallet to another. This makes the assumption that all wallets have the same currency?

You'd keep track of currency conversions yourself, manually.
Wallets are independent, their transactions are never mixed, so it's perfectly OK to keep a wallet in one currency and another wallet in another currency. That's what I do, too.

How about travelling users? If I want to keep track of a "temporary wallet" full of €, while all other wallets are $, how can I do it with CashBase?

Basically, there's no concept of *currency* in CashBase, we only use the dollar sign in the iPhone app for esthetics.

We plan to let everyone change their default currency (symbol included), so that the iPhone app would show that particular currency instead of the default dollar.
