I exported my expenses to an ODS document, and OpenOffice is not able to open it. OO Calc V3.3 crashes on it.

Retain the UI Simplicity
I love its simplicity, I'm having a headache with other financial apps with overflowing data! Cashbase really got IT! whether you add a lot of features, please just keep it simple! don't make any huge changes.

Have most used tags available without typing
First of all, great app and website. One suggestion: when adding expenses, can we have a tag cloud with the most used tags? This will reduce the time needed to enter a transaction greatly. For example instead of typing in 'coffee' every other day I can just click on the 'coffee' tag in the tag cloud and have the expense tagged right away!

Make a chrome extension

Add an "add new category" to budget menu
There are other budgets a person has, so an "add new category" button would help keep track of specific budgets that area not listed in the budget category list

Allow for monthly reports
It mightbe helpful to see reports, such as an income statement (income-expenses), and also reports showing the amount by catagory or transactions (I use the note field for where the money was spent).
It would be useful to incorporate the custom date field so that any range of dates (monthly, quarterly, etc) could be displayed in the report.3 votes -

I would like to offer you to add the possibility of adding date for each expense.Add a "date" field for each new item (expense of income) with the default date being the current date (the one on which the user types in the item), with the ability to change the date as needed.
In addition, I suggest you add a check box in the "settings" menu, allowing the user to "turn off" the dates - mainly in order not to "clutter" the database, in case dates are of no interest. (in that case the "hidden" database could…
